BIO
Freelancing Music Producer & Sound designer from Athens, Greece.
Dimitris Papanikolaou was born in January 1994 in Athens and went to music Junior and Senior Highschool of Ilio. There he learned various traditional Percussion instruments, piano and saz and additionaly studied guitar at Nakas Music School throughout his teens. He graduated from the department of Visual Arts and Sciences at the University of Ioannina with a firm focus on expression through sound, music and storytelling as his thesis project showcases. Dimitris is now studying at Music Technologies and New Media in Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is also freelancing as a music & sound Artist, focusing on the gaming and cinematic industries.

Below is a game made in the 10 day Game Jam challenge on itch.io with the genre being Bullet Hell. Nicola Zamboni is the game's creator while Dimitris undertook the Sound Design and Music. The game was rated 18th out of 301 entries with the Audio ranking in 40th place.
